Olivia Rodrigo's music isn't exclusive to teenagers. Playing ‘Sour,’ the 18-year-old Disney sensation and blockbuster singer-debut songwriter's album, is a certain way to relive the strongest feelings of teenage years: heartbreak, jealously, and uncertainty.
Olivia Rodrigo is currently a well-known figure in the music world. This 18-year-old is dominating the charts with back-to-back singles including "Driver's License," "Deja Vu," and "Good 4 U." Let’s talk about who Olivia Rodrigo is and how she became the famous new pop star.
Rodrigo began her career as an actor when she was 12 years old, getting her first ad for Old Navy.
She made her acting debut at the age of 13 on the Disney series Bizaardvark. Olivia co-starred alongside Madison Hu in the lead role of Paige Olvera. Despite the show's moderate popularity, Olivia's performance was highly applauded.

After three seasons of Bizaardvark, Rodrigo secured a new role as Nini in Disney+'s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Olivia sang several songs in the play in addition to acting.

On the Billboard Hot 100 list, the song reached number 90.
Olivia's breakthrough came with publishing her debut original hit, "Driver's License." The song was a breakthrough, entering at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks. At the age of 17, she also became the youngest artist to have a number one hit.
"Driver’s License" struck gold when it became the subject of a viral TikTok craze. Users recreated a sequence from Rodrigo's music video in which she falls back away from the camera at a dramatic change between the verse and chorus,
"Driver's License" also set several milestones, including the Spotify record for most day streams.
She attracted the attention of some well-known musicians as a result of the tremendous popularity of "Driver's License."
Another hit song by Rodrigo, "Deja Vu," was also a critical success. On the Billboard Hot 100 list, it reached number three.
Rodrigo's other hit was "Good 4 U," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 list for the second time.
