Avatar Country

The band recorded their seventh studio album throughout Summer 2017 at Spinroad Studios in Lindome, Sweden. The album was produced by Jay Ruston, noted for working with Stone Sour, Anthrax and Steel Panther. Avatar took part in the Avatar Country World Tour 2017, touring the United States from January to February 2018, and various countries in Europe from March to April, with The Brains and freakshow attraction Hellzapoppin'. Just one night before the album's release, in New York City, Avatar performed six songs from the album for the first time, along with songs from their previous albums. - WIKIPEDIA

If there were a constitution for Avatar Country, it would probably read something about respecting all different forms of the genre, and holding the highest regard for guitar work.

Avatar has refined their approach, and while some may miss the more experimental and heavier aspects of previous albums, they’ve created a short but sweet selection of songs that are as varied as they are excellent.

By the end of the album, it’s difficult to tell whether The King is actually as splendorous as Avatar say, or simply a Big Brother symbol going by how much the band rams The King down our throats.
